Tips and Tricks
Ymir’s main gimmick is Pimbulvetr. It reduces the enemy team’s attack speed by up to 8096, but starts prety low. This means Ymir Mythic Heroes needs to stay alive so that your own damage will outplace the enemy’s after some time. Frozen Renewal is a good tool for that, but Ymir needs as much sustain as possible to survive in PvP. Her divinity skills really don’t help a lot, so she needs other heroes to help her survive.
If you can protect her long enough, her debuff will leave the enemies significantly weakened. She is especially useful against Fighters, as they are the most reliant on attack speed.

Synergies
- Ymir wants fights to be long so she can stack up Fimbulvetr
- Heroes that prolong fights work extremely well with her
- Nagakanya especially works well, since she can overheal your heroes and prevent any one-hits
Counterplay Ymir Mythic Heroes
There are two ways to go about Ymir:
- Either burst her down immediately so Fimbulvetr does not matter
- If you try this, burst Ymir down with as few heroes as possible, since attacking her will debuff your heroes
- OR kill Ymir’s carries as quickly as possible
- Without carries, her debuffs will not be enough to win the fight
