It might not look like it from stats alone, but the Demon Mask (Shadowarch Team) is (currently) superior to the Human Mask (Guardian Team) in almost every way.
Demon Mask provides a lot more damage output and makes Lilith Mythic Heroes a strong Hypercarry
Human Mask is better if you want to use her as an Off-Tank, which is currently not recommended, but it also provides a strong Defense buff to her team with Dark Ritual
Optimally, you want her to be the last woman standing to maximize her damage, one-shotting entire team. Sadly, this is a very risky and inconsistent strat that is also bad against Bosses

- Faust wants to die, while Lilith needs her team to die
- He will damage the enemies enough for Lilith to execute them with her Ultimate after dying
- He puts himself into the enemy team, distracting them from Lilith
