Artio Mythic Heroes has some major flaws that sadly come from her ultimate-based kit. Initially, she is a very squishy Tank, with only a single mediocre (at best) selfhealing skill. Your main goal is for her to survive until she can use her ultimate, which is very counter intuitive for a Tank. The payoff is her becoming an actual Tank that now debuffs enemies instead of buffing your own team, making her use unreliable. The only thing she is really good at is keeping herself alive with a ton of defense once she uses her ultimate, and a lot of energy to use her ultimate over and over again. She gets some control from her Iconic Weapon in bear form, but not enough to make up for her lack of impact early into the fight, especially in a fast-paced meta.
Counterplay Artio Mythic Heroes
- In PvP, ignore her. Just focus on her team, she will not have a great impact if her team is dead before she can use her ultimate. If she is a lot stronger than her other teammates, you can try to assassinate her instead.
- In PvE, also ignore her, but bring either extremely high single-target damage, anti-heal, or strong debuffs.
