NEW SSR HERO – MURASAKI SHIKIBU, THE LEGENDARY WRITER OF THE HEIAN PERIOD
A Mage representing the Guardian faction, Murasaki Shikibu bewilders her opponents by chanting a range of poems to deal massive area-of-effect damage.
Murasaki Shikibu will be available to summon in the Summoner Sanctum starting from January 7th, 0:00 UTC.
GAME MODE AND EVENT UPDATES
Moving forward, all in-game events will be unlocked for players after completing stage 4-4 in the Main Campaign.
Gachapod
The Gachapod is making an appearance from January 7, 2023, 0:00 UTC to January 20, 2023, 23:59 UTC
Test your luck by drawing capsules from the Gachapod to win a wide range of prizes!
A new currency resource called “Gachapod Fragments” has been added to the Gachapod to help players select their favorite prizes. Once enough Fragments have been collected, you can exchange these fragments for numbered tickets, which can be used to select your preferred prizes.
Limited event prizes include new skins for Amaterasu, and our newest SSR Hero Murasaki Shikibu!
Nian Beast and Fireworks Event
The Nian Beast challenge and fireworks event will be returning from January 21, 2023, 0:00 UTC to February 3rd, 2023, 0:00 UTC with a new set of rewards and prizes to win!
Friendly Battles
One of the most requested features has made its way to Mythic Heroes! Challenge your friends and Guildmates in friendly battles with two casual PvP modes! Access friendly battles through your Friends List or the Guild Lobby.
Normal Mode
In Normal Mode, you can challenge your friends or guildmates’ Gladiator Arena defense team formations. These battles will include all stats from their Hero levels, ascension levels, enhancements, divinities, weapons, antiques, Cube of Truth upgrades, bonuses from the Muses, and the Celestial Exhibition bonuses.
Normal Mode for Friendly Battles will unlock upon completing stage 2-24 in the Main Campaign.
Champion’s Mode
Champion’s Mode will pit you against your friends and guildmates’ Gladiator Arena defense team formations and will follow the Hero-sync adjustments of the Champions Arena top 64 ruleset. This means that all Heroes will have a level sync of level 350 and Antique bonuses will not apply.
Champion’s Mode will unlock upon completing stage 14-4 of the Main Campaign.
OTHER UPDATES
Guild Invites
Guild Masters and Vice Masters can now send guild invites via the in-game channels and friend list up to three times a day for each method.
The Muses
Three new Muses have joined the banquet. You can now build your favor with Thalia, the Muse of Comedy; Melpomene, the Muse of Tragedy; and Urania, the Muse of Astronomy!
Various UI adjustments have also been made.
Friend Mercenaries
Friend Mercenaries will now include the following stats: Divinity Upgrades, Iconic Weapon Upgrades, and Equipment.
Fashion Store Update
Missed out on a previous event that had a skin for your favorite Hero?
We have added two new types of Skin Voucher tokens called “Harmonic Moon” and “Radiant Star” to allow players to purchase skins that were previously made to be Limited Edition. Acquire these new tokens via event-exclusive rewards. These Limited Edition skins will only be available for limited periods of time within the Fashion Store and will only occasionally become available.
We have also made UI adjustments to the Fashion Store to help players navigate the new skin categories.
In-Game Event Calendar
The in-game event calendar has been updated to reflect the next month of events!
BUGFIXES
Amaterasu
Solar Storm (Passive): Fixed a bug where Amaterasu’s auto-attack would sometimes not apply the bonus damage applied by Solar Storm.
Pop-Up Promotions
Fixed a bug where Pop-Up Promotions would prevent players from viewing the Battle Replay.
