Notes

The thing you need to know about Poseidon is that in early game if you don’t have enough all kind upgrades, he will be dying too quickly. And this fact is pretty bad for a tank actually. So it is very important to use Dark runes, cause his energy is so slowly gain. To make his ultimate as soon as possible, you can also use Forest rune.

His first skill that giving him a crowd control effect and sucking enemies in one spot will be great to combine with second skill, which can do Stun. And first crowd control attack seems to be better than Gaia’s skill. And second skill with stun looks alike Nagakanya’s one. So hero can also protect himself with a third skill, it is his main lifesaver, and deals damage. To get more advantages, you need to upgrade his weapon, this is kinda like Athena’s shield. Poseidon passive skill can help to win a fight in pvp fight, ’cause he can block energy gaining to the enemy after a shot, so opponent can’t do ultimate.

When an enemy unit is hit by “Whirlpool of Wrath,” decrease their Attack Speed by 50% for 5s. (Unlock 400)

So, now a few words about a Divinity. The good ones are Asterial Spotlight, Primeval Colossus, Primeval Embroilment, Asterial Gemini, Primeval Primal Totem, Immortality Recovery, Immortality Transcend.

Team building. Use Poseidon, Susanoo, Izanami, Ganjiang & Moye and a healer (Idun, Cassandra, Hela or Nagakanya). It is very universal choice. All this tips are working for at least mythic form.

Bio

After the infamous Titan-God war, Zeus’ brother Poseidon was awarded the realm of the sea. However, throughout all the realms, the God is revered for his charm and power. He wields an imposing trident made by the same cyclops that made Zeus’ lightning bolt and Hades’ helmet. With a flip of this trident, Poseidon can send waves, storms, or earthquakes to cause tremendous havoc and destruction. However, he does have a gentler side… He is given tremendous respect by those who make their living on his domain, and for these fishermen and merchants, he protects them by patrolling the waves with a giant chariot pulled by bronze-hoofed horses.

It is said that few with power – no matter how much – believe that they have enough, and this was true for Poseidon. He even challenged his own brother for the throne of Olympus, which ended in Poseidon’s defeat. Zeus, however, knowing he should not be too heavy-handed with his brother, only made him build a wall for humankind as punishment. It was while he was building this wall near Athens that he first saw Medusa. He was overwhelmed by her beauty. Her long, wavy hair floated as if it was possessed, and this image became a tattoo on his heart. He pursued her relentlessly, giving her exquisite corals and pearls and having the sirens sing their most beautiful ballads for her enjoyment. Medusa was moved and the two fell in love.

However, Medusa had taken a pledge to remain chaste as a priestess of Athena, and this love violated her oath. As a result, her beauty was converted into the serpent form that we know today. Poseidon immediately disappeared and was exposed as a mere lover of beauty, not of Medusa.
