At the beginning of the battle, Gaia gains a “Stone Shield” which increases her Defense by 40%. When Gaia is the target of a control skill while it is active, the shield will be consumed to remove the control (Regenerates 10s afterwards).

When Gaia removes a control, she recovers 4% Health per second for 5s
Level 3 (Lv 181):
Increases Defense by 60% while “Stone Shield” is active
Level 4 (Lv 261):
When Gaia removes a control, she recovers 5% Health per second for the duration

For every 30% of Health lost, Gaia gains 1 stack of “Earthly Vein,” increasing her max Health by 4%. This effect can stack up to 6 times.
Level 2 (Lv 121):
Additionally, 50% of the increased Health will be recovered as well.

Gaia has it rough early, she doesn’t do much at the start. But when you unlock her 300 on the weapon it makes her AOE stuns as well. Her ult reduce enemie attack speed and stuns the whole team pratically. When she gets this off, she gives alot of breathing space to her team. With Physical resistance on the weapon and her self sustain when CC. Gaia is one of the tankiest units VS physical enemies.

Bio
Born from the primal waters of pure chaos, Gaia was one of the original five creation Gods of Greece. She is the “Earth Goddess,” or the pure representation of the nature of the world itself – being strong and difficult to move. She is also a very clever tactician. It was she who conspired and helped to remove the first two Titan-Kings of Greece, Uranus and Cronus.
With her first husband Uranus, the Titan of Aether, Gaia birthed the first pantheon. Gaia loved all her children, even the one-eyed cyclops and hundred-handed, Hecatonchires. Uranus was afraid that these children would eventually take over his power though. Therefore, he locked these Titans in Tartarus, and Gaia was absolutely heartbroken. Immediately, she orchestrated Uranus’ overthrow by having her son Cronus attack his father. At this moment, the Aether (heavenly air) split from Earth forever.
Unfortunately, it didn’t take long for Cronus to become a tyrant king as well. He, too, was fearful of his own kids and actually swallowed them. Again, Gaia felt forced to intervene. This time it was Cronus’ youngest son, Zeus, who was used by her to overthrow the Titan-King. Cronus was then locked in Tartarus. Zeus had promised Gaia that if he were able to obtain the power, he would release all the Titans that are locked up, but he did not keep his word once he witnessed how powerful the Titans were. Again, Gaia was deceived. With Zeus’ betrayal of Gaia’s rules, he is now facing the wrath of the Earth Goddess.
